Background
----------

ZF (a major supplier company in the automative sector), and ISCN (a well
known network of experts and partners in process improvement), together
with original authors from SPICE materials hold a SPICE 2.0
workshop in July each year for the electronics, automotive, telecom and
aerospace industry.
The workshop in 2000 was a big success with participation from major
industries and which helped to transfer assessment competencies into
process groups of leading industry.

The workshop is interactive with learning by doing exercises. It gives a
full introduction into SPICE, how SPICE maps onto CMMI, with practical
sessions for scoring, rating, assessment planning, improvement planning,
and assessment interviews.
Each participant receives a course certificate stating that the
participant is trained as an assessor for SPICE 2.0.
