Not at all. There is a perception, as others have mentioned that both:
a) there are no Ada programmers for all of the Ada jobs
b) there are no Ada jobs for all of the Ada programmers

Check out the ACM SIGAda Jobs page at <http://www.acm.org/sigada/jobs/>. In
addition to browsing the list of jobs, you'll see pointers to several head
hunters that specialize in Ada jobs. I'd recommend you give a call to two
of them: QRP, Inc. and Paul Morris Associates. Both are very knowledgable
about the supply (and demand) for Ada programmers. EVen if you don't use
them to supply people, they'll give you lots of good info.

I can tell you that last summer, when most people were predicting that the
end of the mandate would be a big impact on Ada firms, my company OIS saw
one of our best summers ever. At least for Ada 95 and CORBA products, we
see the market getting better. So, no, based on where I sit as a vendor I
see 3rd party support continuing on.

There are *lots* of Ada 83 projects who are only now beginning to look at
Ada 95 technology.

I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Brad
