Hello, Everyone,

During July 1997, users from
    1,301 organizations extracted
   42,183 files
from the Public Ada Library (PAL). Of this 1,301 organizations, 258 were
first-time users (1,043 were repeat customers).

From April to July 1997 (picking up from where the report in the
July/August 1997 issue of "Ada Letters" left off), users from
    3,673 organizations extracted
  188,746 files
from the Public Ada Library (PAL). Note that the memo abolishing the
Ada mandate came out in late April 1997.

The data above applies to the main PAL site at Washington University in
Saint Louis only.

This brings the total number of files extracted from the PAL (and its
mirror sites) as documented in the PAL's data files and reports to over
1,000,000 by users in over 7,800 organizations in 101 countries.

Rick
