I am a Senior Partner in a retained search firm.  A fortune 20 Aerospace
Company on the East Coast has retained us to find an embedded software
engineer with 8+ years of experience working in an Avionics environment.

Embedded Software Engineer

Education Preferred : Master of Science in Computer Science or Software
Engineering Experience Preferred : Skills Preferred: - Experience with
Ada-83 and other high level languages - Knowledge of SEI CMM Level 4
standard work processes ·Familiarity with avionics systems ·Knowledge of
MIL-STD-1553B ·Familiarity with cockpit display software. Job
Responsibilities: Design, implement and test embedded real-time software
systems. All software design, documentation and processes must adhere to SEI
Level 4 standard work processes and program specific development guidelines.
Tasks include: - Review allocated software requirements - Formulate a
software design and implementation that is appropriate for the requirements,
consistent with the existing design and company design standards ·Prepare
test plans, test cases and test the software ·Integrate the software into
the existing operational flight program and test with  Mission Equipment
Package hardware ·Generate appropriate documentation for each of the
required tasks Education Required: BS in Computer Science/Engineering,
Physics, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
