I disagree. It is quite important issue about Ada: is that language alive enough
and can it survive outside of the big corporations? Yes, it is a non-technical
question, but

So, some aspects of corporate vs. academic vs. freelance behavior are at least
loosely relevant.

As a person that was born and rose in socialistic environment (Soviet), and
moreover, witnessed its flourishing, stagnation, and collapse, I want to add
several words:

I think that there is enough "leftist" in the principal GPL approach, although
not exactly "socialistic". The GPL incorporates what is common in the academic
view and socialistic view.

Surely. As many symptoms suggest, the big corporations are substantially
socialistic internally.
