Greg Bek noticed my error (16#27#) for the value of
the escape character. The number one reason you
should always use enumerated names!

It should be:

033      Octal         8#033#
1B       Hexadecimal  16#1B#
27       Decimal      10#27#

Anyone know the relevant ANSI standard that defined
the escape sequences?  The MS-DOS manual doesn't say.
