Hi, Everyone,

During September 1997, users from
  1,652 organizations transferred
88,051 files from the main PAL site at Washington University

This figure includes users from 353 new organizations (meaning that
1,299 organizations were repeat customers). This figure does NOT
include the activity associated with the PAL mirror sites at
CDROM, SW-ENG, and CNAM. If this activity were included, the
file transfer count would be up to 167,801.

>From April-September 1997 (since the Ada mandate was dropped),
users from
4,572 organizations in 105 countries transferred
311,534 files from the main PAL site at Washington University

Like above, this figure does NOT include the activity associated
with the PAL mirrors sites. If this activity were included, the
file transfer count would be up to 468,505.

Details can be found in the languages/ada/userdocs/activity
directory tree.
