I have long believed that, if we can get college teams together programming
in Ada, it would soon become common for one or more teams using Ada to show
very strongly, or even win, the ACM International Collegiate Scholastic
Programming Contest.  (Hope I got that name right! :)  Many of the problems
in that contest tend to be "algorithm intensive".  Some times there are
"C-Hacker" type problems.  But the more difficult problems tend to
dominate, and it is usually necessary to solve much less than half the
total number of problems to place high in the standings.
