The latest Reid Report is #20, from April 1999, so one semiannual report
has been skipped so far.

I'm working on trying to find someone in the CS education community
who's willing to take it over and out it on the web. It's a very easy
job - just make changes as they arrive by e-mail. I would do it myself,
but I'd rather keep that as a last resort, mostly for "political"
reasons. This is the kind of data that's more credible in the education
community if its collector is widely perceived as language-neutral.
I am hardly perceived as language-neutral, so I'm not the best candidate.

The annual SIGCSE conference is in a few weeks and I hope to lobby a
few neutral friends there to take over the Reid Report. Stay tuned.
