This doesn't necessarily prevent you from starting to use
AWS, if you can find a sensible way to set up your AWS based
code as a server in front of, behind or in parallel with
Apache.

No, it is usually a bad idea to say wipe it all.  But I am
busy "infecting" the webserver of our Linux User Group with
Ada programs.  The most limiting factor at the moment is
that we only have an Ada compiler for one of our two
machines (one IA32 and one Alpha), so my programs are
(correctly) not considered as flexible as those written in
C, Perl or POSIX Shell.  (now I ended up complaining about
tool availability too)
