Team-Ada:
I wanted to drop you a quick note with regards to a
opportunity I have in the greater Atlanta GA. area. I have a client
with a 4-6 month need for a s/w engineer with a ada, and DO-178B
background.
The job duties include the following: writing customer documentation
that would describe functional implementation for a avionics graphics
box. They are doing DO-178B certification. The work will also involve
writing a "svcp" that identify testing functionality of avionics
display devices. Then will also perform structural coverage analysis
of developed software. This will involve developing test scripts that
determine adherence to DO178 requirements.
Skills the client is looking for are the following: DO178, Ada. Pluses
are C, Adatest, s/w analysis, and any knowledge of blackbox testing.
The most important part: RATE- the rates they are looking at are in
the mid $40's to low $50's an hour.
The client has made one offer, which was not accepted, because of a
counter offer.
Thank you for your time and attention.
800-426-9196 x-1817 Thanks- Dave Carlson.
P.S. If there is any interest, please respond with contact info and a
fairly recent copy of your resume.
