Some weeks ago, I asked if anyone knew where to find recent results
from the surveys that Richard Reid of Michigan State University has
done concerning the use of programming languages in CS1 courses.

I neglected then to pass on what I learned:  Dick Reid retired last
year, and unfortunately it seems that no one has continued his surveys.
