Why not write in Ada and simply access the
Java APIs that you want through bindings? A
full JDK binding is provided with ObjectAda
(as is the JDK itself), so you can write
your code in Ada and access the full JDK
API at the same time.
Presumably when ACT releases its byte code
generator, you'll be able to do the same
thing with GNAT as well.
You can also look at Shayne Flint's AdaJNI,
which gives you access from native Ada code
to JVM components. This is a different, but
