Been wondering since high school what those s-p-d-f orbitals beyond
1s and 2p really look like? Look for "Orbitals" on www.adapower.com
and you'll find a demo of dynamic Windows graphics, Claw style, that
lets you see higher electron probability density orbitals of the
Hydrogen atom. There is a Windows executable as well as source
which can be compiled and linked with the introductory version of
Claw using Gnat, Janus, ObjectAda, or Rational compilers. There
is also a very simple demo, Tube, which is pretty (especially if
you have blue-red 3D glasses handy), and which exposes more simply
the underlying reusable cloud display object.
