Once a year, SIGCHI has an open meeting at the CHI
Conference that is for all SIGCHI members and people
who might just want to be SIGCHI members.

This is your chance to get involved with SIGCHI or
to have your say in what SIGCHI should be doing.  We
run the meeting by collecting cards with questions
on them from the audience and then respond to the
questions with a panel of SIGCHI officers.

And, following the SIGCHI Open meeting is a Reception
for volunteers!  If you have done anything for SIGCHI
in the past year, reviewed a paper, commented on one
of the SIGCHI Email Forums, helped carry a box, etc.,
you are a SIGCHI volunteer and invited to the reception
immediately following the meeting.
