Based on a national workshop on Digital Storytelling in 2000 and the first TIDSE conference in March 2003 we want to establish the conference as an international forum to exchange experience and knowledge among researchers and developers in the field of interactive storytelling and entertainment. Research papers and case studies are invited that present scientific ideas or improvements to existing techniques in the multidisciplinary field of digital storytelling and entertainment/edutainment applications. Paper submission format should be Adobe pdf. Paper submission will be accepted via email only. Exhibition Submission: The Exhibition Paper can be up to ten pages for presenting the exhibit. The submission must include a 150 word abstract and a more detailed description of the exhibit itself. The description should state clearly the aims and objectives of the exhibit, the issues that are addressed and why these are significant and timely. In the Exhibition Paper a technical overview of the requirements for display, and a statement about which requirements will needed in the exhibition place should be included. Digital formats must be suitable for either MacOS or Windows, and the technical requirements must be specified clearly (including OS, applications, plug-ins, bandwidth, projection etc), as well as the required space in qm2.
