sorry to disagree. 

1) do you think that anybody with low vision can find the small links
behind the (+) and (-). i do prefer larger links and the words larger
/ smaller font instead of any incons / symbols.

2) only the main content increases in font size. how could people
navigate and orient themself on the web site?

3) i think that to be helpful it should be placed more to the top of
the page as people start looking for it from the top left.

BTW: has anybody some figures about the usage of such features? would
be interesting and i would not be surprised if they are not used a
lot. (that does not mean that i would recommend to drop this feature.)
