3rd in Asia/Australia. School of Computing has around 80 faculty members and 
constantly publish in top venues (e.g., eleven SIGMOD'08 papers).)

An opening is available for the position as Research Fellow (post-doctoral 
researcher) in the area of general distributed systems/algorithms or
sensor networks in School of Computing, NUS. The appointee is expected to work 
closely with the Project Investigator (Assistant Prof. YU Haifeng, 
http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~yuhf) and his research team. The most important 
goal of the research is to produce high-impact publications in the very best 
conferences and journals in the area. The duration will be 1 year (renewable up 
to 2 years). The salary is highly-dependent on qualifications, and is 
internationally competitive (e.g., compared to Europe and US).

Requirements
     * At least a PhD degree from a good university
     * Strong publication records
     * Fluent in written and spoken English
     * Ability and dedication to do world-class research
