Just a word of caution, having created an application for a very small
user group; take everything you get from the client with a grain of salt
and maybe even go outside of the client group for additional data
points. With a small group, your results will likely be as much personal
opinion as useful data. That sounds like heresy, but we learned that six
months after conducting user research, what was an absolute "must have"
for the client group initially, changed drastically after a few users
left and new ones came onboard. Is turnover frequent? Ask yourself',
"What will this user population look like in a year, two years...?" For
very small user groups, their input is absolutely critical (of course!),
but you need to temper it with a bit of generalization.
