=================================================================== Call for Papers HCSE 2010 3rd Conference on Human-Centered Software Engineering October 14-15 Reykjavik, Iceland HCSE 2010 is the third working conference of IFIP Working Group 13.2, Methodologies for User-Centered Systems Design. The goal of HCSE is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in strengthening the scientific foundations of user interface design, examining the relationship between software engineering and human- computer interaction and on how to strengthen user-centered design as an essential part of software engineering processes. We seek high-quality, original papers that address the theory, design, development and evaluation of ideas, tools, techniques, methodologies in (but not limited to) the following topics: - Integration of software engineering and user-centered design - HCI models and model-driven engineering - Incorporating guidelines and principles for designing usable products into the development processes - Usability engineering - Methods for user interface design - Patterns in HCI - Software architectures for user interfaces - User interfaces for ubiquitous environments - Representations for design in the development process - Working with processes models like Rational Unified Process (RUP) or eXtreme Programming (XP) - Social and organizational aspects of software development in a lifecycle perspective - Case studies For more details have a look at the homepage of HCSE: http://wwwswt.informatik.uni-rostock.de/HCSE2010 IMPORTANT DATES: May 31 - Full paper abstracts Jun 14 - Full paper submission Jun 21 - Short paper submission Jul 19 - Acceptance notification Aug 16 - Camera-ready versions Oct 14 - See you at HCSE2010 =================================================================== Jan Gulliksen professor in Human Computer Interaction CSC – School of Computer Science and Communication KTH – Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm, Sweden [log in to unmask] tel. 0730-373930 --------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send an empty email to mailto:[log in to unmask] For further details of CHI lists see http://sigchi.org/listserv ---------------------------------------------------------------
