Call for Participation:
DIS 2012 Workshop on Designing for Cognitive Limitations

Newcastle, UK, June 12, 2012

Submission deadline: 30 March 2012

People with cognitive disabilities can face challenges when using
technology--and cognitively demanding situations like driving,
multitasking, or problem-solving under stress can hinder anyone's
technology use. Appropriately-designed technology can help.

This workshop seeks to bring together researchers and practitioners
with design experience in the many areas of cognitive disability and
limitation to exchange, evolve, and develop strategies for design.
Workshop participants will present lessons from their own experiences,
and workshop activities will employ claims-based design strategies
toward identifying, comparing, contrasting, and mapping approaches
for addressing cognitive disabilities and limitations.
