CHI 2013 (http://chi2013.acm.org) wil take place in Paris, France, from April 27 to May 2nd, 2013.

CHI 2013 is about changing perspectives: drawing from the constantly changing perspectives of the diverse CHI community and beyond, but also actively changing perspectives by offering new visions of people interacting with technology.

Six new venues are now open for submission on the PCS submission site, with a deadline on October 5, 2012:
Case Studies - with an entire new format to better suit the needs of practitioners
	Courses
	Doctoral Consortium
Panels - with a set of keynote panelists that you can include in your panels
SIG meetings - with an earlier deadline than previous years, and the return of birds-of-a-feather sessions
	Workshops
See the call at http://chi2013.acm.org/authors/ and submit on PCS at http://precisionconference/~sigchi

Also, the Student Volunteer lottery has open: apply at http://chisv.org to get a chance to be part of the amazing team of SVs without whom the conference could not happen.

This is your chance to participate in CHI 2013 not just as an attendee, but as an author and a volunteer!
We are looking forward to your submissions.
