Apologies for cross-posting Research Assistant (full time), University of Leeds http://bit.ly/17p3wuk University Grade 6 (£24,766 - £29,541) depending on qualifications and experience Closing Date: 18 July 2013 The School of Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic Research Assistant to work on a study exploring the integration of robotic surgery into routine practice and the impacts of robotic surgery on communication, collaboration and decision making in the operating theatre. With experience of undertaking research in a healthcare setting, you will be expected to contribute to data collection and analysis. A key element of the role will be contributing to the gathering of qualitative and quantitative data about teamwork in operating theatres across multiple NHS Trusts. You must have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the broader decision making research group in the School. This project is a multidisciplinary collaboration between the University of Leeds, King's College London and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Health Services and Delivery Research Programme.
