Building on the success of the two previous years’ symposia, the central purpose of this year’s symposium is to share exciting new and ongoing research, foster discussion about necessary areas for future work, and cultivate a vibrant, interconnected research community. AI-HRI encourages computational AI and HRI researchers to submit: *** PAPER CATEGORIES *** FULL PAPERS: 5-7 page papers highlighting state-of-the-art HRI-oriented AI research. SHORT PAPERS: 3-4 page papers outlining new or controversial views, or describing ongoing computational work. TOOL PAPERS: 1-2 page abstracts describing novel software, hardware, or datasets of interest to the AI-HRI community. Presented software and hardware tools must be available for a “hack session” at the symposia; presented datasets should be made available at the symposium. *** TRAVEL FUNDS FOR STUDENTS *** A limited amount of travel funding is available to students authors, and will be allocated based on need and merit.
