We apologise if you receive multiple copies of this message, but we really hope those interested in co-design with children will submit a position paper. One more week until the deadline!

Call for Participation for a full-day workshop at the Interaction Design and Children conference (IDC 2017) in Stanford on June 27.
This hands-on workshop will explore different ways to analyse children’s (0 to 18 years) experiences and contributions in co-design activities, the perceived benefits and challenges of these approaches, and will serve as a venue for synthesising productive practices. We encourage novices, experienced researchers and industry practitioners to submit an abstract. Reflexive accounts will be encouraged to contribute to mapping the diversity of approaches, brought together during the workshop.

Organizers: Dr. Maarten Van Mechelen (KU Leuven), Prof. Dr. Marikken Høiseth (NTNU), Gökçe Elif Baykal (Koç University), Dr. Fenne van Doorn (TU Delft), Prof. Dr. Asimina Vasalou (UCL), Alice Schut (TU Delft)

Important dates:

  * May 12: Position papers (2 to 4 pages) from participants due
  * May 20: Position paper acceptance notification to participants
  * June 27: Full-day workshop at IDC 2017 in Stanford
