SCOPE AND TOPICS
-------------------------

The 4th ACM Workshop on Millimeter-Wave Networks and Sensing Systems is
focused on the design and implementation of new millimeter-wave (mmWave)
protocols and systems. The workshop’s scope ranges from new mmWave networks,
that can enable multi-Gbps throughput, ultra-low latency, and reliable
wireless connectivity for 5G-and-beyond cellular systems and wireless LANs,
to new mmWave sensing systems. The workshop will bring together researchers
from mmWave hardware, communication and signal processing, wireless
networking, and mobile and sensing applications to set the future research
agenda of mmWave systems, and present innovative ideas that will help
realize the vision of extremely high data rate, ultra-low latency, and
reliable mmWave networks and novel advanced sensing applications.

We solicit papers with new original, unpublished ideas in mmWave networks
and sensing systems. We also solicit papers with novel results in mmWave
platforms, system measurements, and prototypes. Submissions will be judged
by their technical merit thorough a peer-review process by the Technical
Program Committee. *All papers will be considered for the Best Paper Award.*

We invite submissions in a wide range of millimeter-wave research, including
but not limited to:

** Novel mmWave PHY, MAC, Transport, Application, and
cross-technology/layer concepts and designs
** Mechanisms to support link establishment, mobility, and tracking
    ** MmWave analog- and hybrid-beamforming and MU-MIMO
    ** IEEE 802.11ad/ay and 5G NR-and-beyond pico-cells design and
deployment
** Wireless backhaul based on mmWave
    ** MmWave based URLLC for 5G NR-and-beyond
** Novel mmWave research platforms and testbed development
** Channel measurements, modeling, and simulations
** Localization and gesture tracking using mmWave
** Medical applications of mmWave sensing systems
** RADAR, imaging systems and techniques for mmWave
    ** MmWave V2X: Vehicular-to-anything communication
** Emerging mmWave applications including AR/VR, wireless data centers,
and drone-based networks
