====Call for candidates- Marie Curie Fellowships=== The HCI@UCD group is looking for candidates interested in applying for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual European fellowships to join our research group. The call deadline is 9th September 2020. Interested candidates are advised to contact a potential mentor within HCI@UCD as soon as possible. We are a friendly, collaborative and highly research active group, publishing regularly in leading HCI research venues (e.g. CHI, Mobile HCI, TOCHI, IJHCS). The group is a collaboration between the Schools of Computer Science and Information & Communication Studies at University College Dublin. Members of the group are heavily involved in major internationally leading Research Centres (SFI ADAPT- https://www.adaptcentre.ie/, SFI Insight- https://www.insight-centre.org/; SFI D-REAL- https://d-real.ie/) with access to major national and international academic and industry networks and infrastructure. The group focuses on three streams of research: 1) Speech Interfaces and Cognition (led by Dr Benjamin Cowan) 2) Ethics, Communication and Design (led by Dr Marguerite Barry) 3) Mental Health and Agency (led by Dr David Coyle). University College Dublin is one of Europe's leading research-intensive universities and is ranked within the top 1% of higher education institutions world-wide. It is the top university in Ireland for research output. ====Eligibility for Individual Fellowship:==== To be eligible for the fellowship candidates must: • Have a PhD or at least 4 years’ full-time research experience before the call deadline. • Have not been based in Ireland for more than 12 months in the 3 years before the call deadline. • Align to the strands of research we conduct with HCI@UCD (see below).
