Dear all,
I'm happy to share with you a local initiative that is having a high impact.
DonesCOEINF, the gender comission of COEINF (oficial chamber of computer
engineering professionals in Catalonia), is launching a campaign
throughout the month of February to visibilitze women in computing in
Catalonia (Spain), together with some historical ones, by means of
posters in stations and trains of the Catalan company (FGC).
We have modified the maps of the lines by replacing the names of the
station by names of women, some historical and about 70 active computing
engineers.
Large posters have been installed in some main stations and smaller
posters are installed inside the trains. Also there is a digital poster
in one main station.
Unfortunately the public information is in Catalan, but you can check
these links and see the photos:

The first tweet with information about the campaign has more then 18000
visits in 5 days.
It has been a big effort, but we are very proud of the results.
Kind regards
Núria
PS: donesCOEINF was also the promoter of the Barcelona ACM-W chapter.
