The positions are financed by the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network RELAX-DN. The research topics are on efficient data processing at diverse levels in the  data analytics stack, focusing on parallel, distributed, stream processing and structuring of the data, with emphasis on exploring bounded semantic relaxations, to enhance the capabilities of data analytics systems, both functionally and performance-wise (projects 1-3 at the DN link www.relax-dn.eu/), in  an international working group, having strong synergies with associated industry.

The ideal candidates for the positions have a strong background and interest in distributed/parallel/stream computing and systems, including algorithmic aspects and programming. Scientific excellence and successful synergies are very important. Further experience with interdisciplinary projects or background in cyber-physical systems and associated data analysis is helpful.


The positions offer full-time employment for maximum of 5 years.
