The following new SIGCHI lists have been created.

Note that with the creation of chi-Jobs,
job postings should not longer be sent to chi-Announcements.
(This is the main reason for sending this to chi-Announcements).

You can subscribe to the lists (or unsubscribe),
retrieve files, and set options from a Web form at:
        http://www.acm.org/sigchi/listserv/request.html

There are two new lists at ACM.org:
chi-Jobs: Job Postings in HCI (announcements only, no job requests)
        chi-Kids: Kid-Computer Interaction (open discussion)
So, to announce a job in HCI, send it to [log in to unmask]

Two lists have been renamed to:
        chi-II: Intelligent Interfaces (was ii.chi and ii_chi)
chi-Web: Human Factors of the WWW (was WebHCI)
(current subscribers have been transferred)

Examples of LISTSERV requests (send to [log in to unmask]):

Get me off this list!
        unsubscribe chi-Announcements
I need a job:
        subscribe chi-jobs Bob Dole
but I want my presence concealed:
        set chi-jobs conceal
I have a kid, she has a computer or two:
        subscribe chi-kids Bill Gates
I'm busy, so send me the daily digest:
        set chi-kids digest

Note that you do not supply your email address to LISTSERV,
and that all subscription requests go to [log in to unmask],
never to a list.
