Well, I will admit that my reply to that person who was looking for a
Pascal-to-Ada translator wasn't very helpful (I told him about the p2c
translator), however, long before I had received that message, I had
written an article for a freely-distributed computer magazine here in
Oregon called "Computer Bits."  This article is a small introduction to
Ada, which explains such things as the history of the language, and it has
a couple of small example programs.  So hopefully, a lot of people who are
interested in programming will want to learn Ada.  One thing that I did to
make Ada look attractive was to say that it's serves as a good gateway to
C, so that's another thing that might encourage people to learn the
language.
