My congratulations > to the author. And not every article about Ada needs to chant the same mantra. On my first Ada project I had no need for portability and no need for tasking. Any article which emphasized those as characteristics of Ada would have been inappropriate to my problem domain. That code still runs without portability and without tasking, although other work I have been involved in since needs both. I also am involved in a project now which requires tasking but not portability. Editors are also likely to avoid Ada articles which too closely resemble other Ada articles they have read elsewhere. Let us all aspire to the state where other Ada articles the editors have read becomes a significant problem :-) Larry Kilgallen
