gnatlist lives again at GW! --------------------------- As promised recently, The George Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Science Computing Facility (GWU-SEASCF) is now hosting a listproc discussion group for general GNAT discussions. We have revived the name gnatlist for this. gnatlist@seas.gwu.edu has been created in response to a number of requests. It differs from chat@gnat.com in that chat@gnat.com is intended mainly for technical Q&A about existing versions of GNAT, whereas this list is intended to provide a forum for more general discussions on volunteer ports (existing and potential), such as DOS/DJGPP, needs of unsupported small developers, and the like. This list is not intended for general advocacy for Ada or for GNAT, and we hope to keep the traffic moderate and the noise minimal. Please stick to Team-Ada, comp.lang.ada, and other venues for this. How to sign up: -------------- This is an open, un-moderated subscriber list; you must subscribe to participate. To subscribe, send an e-mail message to: listproc@seas.gwu.edu with an empty subject line and the two-line message subscribe gnatlist your_first_name your_last_name help (You MUST replace your_first_name and your_last_name with your own names!) You will then receive two return messages from listproc - a confirmation of your subscription and a help file giving listproc commands. Once you are subscribed, to send messages to the group, send e-mail to gnatlist@seas.gwu.edu In your subject lines, try to be as explicit as possible, so GNAT fans with different areas of expertise can tell at a glance whether they should respond. I have no idea at this point how much traffic the list will generate, but hope that subscribers will stick to the subject.:-) Enjoy the list.
