I think you're pretty much correct here. I too would be surprised if any Rational assholes read your email. I know of very few assholes who work for Rational, the ones who make it through our hiring process don't last very long. And none of the people I know who work for Rational and can spell Ada are assholes, so they wouldn't have subscribed to Team_Ada anyway. ;-) Ad hominems aside, I want to hear what people have to say about Rational and our Ada products. Although you are not aware of it, I look for people who are complaining about Rational's Ada products and I ask them what they don't like and what they would do to improve things. I listen to that feedback and much of it has gone into our product planning. We may not have always been the best at blowing our own horn about our Ada involvem ent, but Rational has never diminished their commitment to or their investment in Ada. I wouldn't be working where I am were that not so (my license plate is still "Ada Guy"). Sure, Rational isn't perfect, nothing is. If you have things to say about what we should be doing to improve our products or otherwise, I want to hear it. We may not do everything you suggest, and the things we do may not happen when you want them, but we will listen. And please, no more about Grady. If you knew him even remotely, you would know how far off base your comments really were and deeply regret sending your email.
