Postdoc Position Available at IPO: User-Centred Design programme Center for Research on User-System Interaction (IPO) Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands) Since about 40 years IPO is an internationally renowned center for multidisciplinary scientific research. In consultation with industry (e.g. Philips) and government, IPO focuses on the development and design of user-friendly interfaces. With the user as the focal point, IPO's activities are geared to fulfilling these needs, ensuring effective, efficient and satisfying interactions between interactive software, electronic products, services and their users. The User-Centred Design programme focuses on the study and development of methods, techniques and tools that improve the quality of product specifications and evaluations. The ideal candidate should possess at least a PhD, and a IIi honours degree in information systems, human-factors/human-computer interaction, cognitive science, or computer science but other first or higher degree qualifications will be considered. The postdoc is a full-time position for a minimum of 2 years, with extension up to 5 years. Salary and employee benefits are excellent.
