I am taking the SIGAda "Ada Awareness" booth to the SEI Symposium in Pittsburgh Aug.30 - Sep.1, and since this year the SEI gives 4 badges for admission to symposium presentation sessions to each exhibitor, I welcome additional volunteers to work the SIGAda booth with me. If there are 3 or 4 of us, we can probably all attend the technical sessions in which we're each interested around sharing booth staff duties. Booth setup will be done Monday afternoon (Aug.30 - the exhibit opens 5:30-7pm that day) and dismantle after exhibit closing Wednesday afternoon at 4:30pm (Sep.1). I can do setup and dismantle by myself if necessary, but would especially welcome support during exhibit hours (5:30-7pm Mon., 9:30am - 4:30pm both Tues. & Wed.). Even if you can just work the booth one day or part of the time, that's helpful. SIGAda can not afford to pay your travel (a couple drinks, sure :-), but hopefully for some of you getting into the SEI symposium without paying the $700+ registration fee will be tempting enough, even on just 13 days notice. If interested, please email me at [log in to unmask] I will be on vacation emptying my nest (delivering youngest daughter to WashU) and celebrating my 30th anniversary in St.Louis until Sunday, Aug. 22. I'll confirm to those interested next week and tell you how to register. Thanks, -Hal Hart, ACM SIGAda booth guy (& Past Chair & SIGAda'99 Conf. Chair - http://www.acm.org/sigada/conf/sigada99
