In todays infoworld in cringely's column he has an interesting quote
from  the microsoft visual studio 6.0 2000 end user license:

" Java technology is not fault tolerant and is not designed,
manufactured, or intended for use or resale as online control
equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance
such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation,
or communications systems, air-traffic control, direct life-support
machines, or WEAPONS SYSTEMS"

he goes on to note that java is the only language so noted,and asks
if this means visual basic CAN be used to run a nuclear reactor ;-)

might come in handy next time someone wants to use java where they
should be using ada!
